Antes de empezar

  • Adobe Photoshop 2023 (24.2) o superior, y la app Adobe Creative Cloud instalada (viene con Photoshop).
  • Cierra Photoshop. Si está abierto, el instalador se detiene y te lo pide.
  • Ten a mano la llave que te enviamos por correo.

1. Instalar

Windows

  1. Cierra Photoshop.
  2. Doble clic en ER-DTF-Halftone-1.3.0-Setup.exe.
  3. Si Windows avisa con SmartScreen: Más información → Ejecutar de todas formas.
  4. Sigue el asistente. No pide contraseña de administrador.
También funciona el doble clic en el .ccx, igual que en Mac.

Mac

  1. Cierra Photoshop y abre la app Creative Cloud.
  2. Doble clic en ER-DTF-Halftone-1.3.0.ccx.
  3. Acepta la instalación que propone Adobe.
Si el doble clic no hace nada, abre la app Creative Cloud primero y vuelve a intentarlo.

2. Abrir el panel

  1. Abre Photoshop.
  2. Menú Plugins → ER DTF Halftone.
  3. Ancla el panel donde quieras, como cualquier otro de Photoshop.
Photoshop carga los plugins solo al arrancar: si lo instalaste con Photoshop abierto, ciérralo y vuelve a abrirlo.

3. Activar la llave

  1. Al abrir el panel la primera vez aparece la pantalla de licencia.
  2. Pega la llave (formato XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) y pulsa ACTIVATE.
  3. Listo: el panel se abre y ya no vuelve a pedirla.
  • Cada llave se activa en un equipo.
  • Activar necesita internet; después el panel funciona hasta 7 días sin conexión.
  • ¿Cambias de equipo o reinstalas Photoshop? Escríbenos y te la liberamos.

Si algo no sale

El instalador dice que Photoshop está abierto
Ciérralo del todo (no basta con cerrar el panel) y pulsa Reintentar.
No encuentro el plugin en el menú Plugins
Cierra Photoshop, vuelve a ejecutar el Setup y ábrelo otra vez. Si sigue sin aparecer, mira instalacion.log en la carpeta del programa y mándanoslo.
"No se encontró el instalador de plugins de Adobe"
Falta la app Adobe Creative Cloud (es quien registra los plugins). Instálala y repite el Setup.
La llave no me la acepta
Comprueba que no sobren espacios al pegarla y que haya internet. Si la llave ya se usó en otro equipo, escríbenos para liberarla.
El panel se ve cortado o muy estrecho
Arrástralo más ancho: el panel se reorganiza solo, y con suficiente ancho enseña dos vistas a la vez.

Actualizar y desinstalar

  • Actualizar: el panel avisa cuando hay versión nueva. Bájala de ertools.app/descargas e instálala encima: no hace falta desinstalar ni volver a poner la llave (cierra Photoshop antes).
  • Desinstalar en Windows: Configuración → Aplicaciones → ER DTF Halftone (Photoshop).
  • Desinstalar en Mac: app Creative Cloud → Plugins → ER DTF Halftone → Desinstalar.

Before you start

  • Adobe Photoshop 2023 (24.2) or later, and the Adobe Creative Cloud app installed (it comes with Photoshop).
  • Close Photoshop. If it is running, the installer stops and asks you to close it.
  • Have the key we emailed you at hand.

1. Install

Windows

  1. Close Photoshop.
  2. Double-click ER-DTF-Halftone-1.3.0-Setup.exe.
  3. If SmartScreen warns you: More info → Run anyway.
  4. Follow the wizard. It never asks for an administrator password.
Double-clicking the .ccx works too, same as on Mac.

Mac

  1. Close Photoshop and open the Creative Cloud app.
  2. Double-click ER-DTF-Halftone-1.3.0.ccx.
  3. Accept the install Adobe offers.
If double-clicking does nothing, open the Creative Cloud app first and try again.

2. Open the panel

  1. Open Photoshop.
  2. Plugins menu → ER DTF Halftone.
  3. Dock the panel wherever you like, like any other Photoshop panel.
Photoshop loads plugins only at startup: if you installed it with Photoshop open, quit and reopen it.

3. Activate your key

  1. The first time the panel opens, the licence screen appears.
  2. Paste the key (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click ACTIVATE.
  3. That is it: the panel opens and never asks again.
  • Each key activates on one computer.
  • Activation needs internet; after that the panel works up to 7 days offline.
  • Changing computers or reinstalling Photoshop? Write to us and we will release it.

If something goes wrong

The installer says Photoshop is open
Quit it completely (closing the panel is not enough) and click Retry.
I cannot find the plugin in the Plugins menu
Close Photoshop, run the Setup again and reopen it. If it still is not there, look at instalacion.log in the program folder and send it to us.
"Adobe's plugin installer was not found"
The Adobe Creative Cloud app is missing (it is what registers plugins). Install it and run the Setup again.
My key is not accepted
Check there are no extra spaces when pasting and that you are online. If the key was already used on another computer, write to us to release it.
The panel looks cramped or cut off
Drag it wider: the panel rearranges itself, and with enough width it shows two views side by side.

Updating and uninstalling

  • Update: the panel tells you when a new version is out. Download it from ertools.app/descargas and install it on top: no need to uninstall or re-enter the key (close Photoshop first).
  • Uninstall on Windows: Settings → Apps → ER DTF Halftone (Photoshop).
  • Uninstall on Mac: Creative Cloud app → Plugins → ER DTF Halftone → Uninstall.
