Designs in 8-bit RGB with transparency (PNG)

Installation

Download the installer from Downloads: the Setup on Windows or the .ccx on Mac.

With Photoshop closed, run the Setup. On Mac, double-click the .ccx with the Creative Cloud app open.

Open Photoshop: Plugins menu → ER DTF Halftone.

Paste the key we sent you and click ACTIVATE.

FAQ

Questions about ER DTF Halftone

What is a halftone and why do I need it for DTF?

A DTF printer doesn't print midtones: it either lays ink or it doesn't. A gradient or a shadow comes out as a slab with white ink underneath. The halftone turns it into separate solid dots: less ink, a softer garment and no white edges.

Which LPI should I use?

Between 35 and 50 for most designs at 300 ppi. The presets already have it set; the panel computes the cell size from your print resolution.

Will it damage my design?

No. It works on a new layer and leaves the original hidden and intact. Ctrl/Cmd+Z reverts the whole thing.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. It's a UXP plugin: the same plugin runs on Windows and macOS, tested with Photoshop 2026 on both.

Can I use it on two computers?

Each key activates on one computer. If you change computers or reinstall Photoshop, write to us and we unbind it from the panel.
